RobotFun at The Suffolk Show

We have been invited by the Ipswich branch of the Institute of Physics to share their stand at this week’s Suffolk Show. If you’re going, Stand 258 is where the robot action will be – look out for our poster board outside the stand. There will be robots from all over the world to see and to try out:

  • Jade, – a tracked robot with lots of sensors and built-in programming
  • Sphero, – a robotic ball that, in a larger version, just happens to be a star of the new Star Wars movie
  • Cubelets, – building blocks that behave differently depending on how they are put together
  • Edison, – small, low cost rover with sound, light and distance sensors.  Edison robots may be combined into larger machines using Lego
  • Clawbot, – a driving robot built using the Vex IQ robotic construction system
  • Ollie, – a very fast rolling robot, the younger brother of Sphero
  • MiP, – a clever balancing robot that can strut his funky stuff, amongst other things
  • Ozobot, – a tiny but very clever programmable, line tracking robot
  • Hexy, – a friendly six-legged dancing robot
