STEM Fair at Stour Valley

As a STEM Ambassador I was delighted to take part in a STEM Fair at Stour Valley Community School this Wednesday. At the invitation of Mr Stephens I took along quite a selection of robots, and spent the day explaining their abilities to practically the whole school. Some of the children also got to have a go at controlling Sphero, Ollie, the Vex Ant, and the Vex IQ Clawbot. Ozobots and Cubelets were also very popular. Here’s what Mr Stephens had to say afterwards:

Once again, thank you so much for attending our Fair yesterday.  I really hope that you found it worthwhile, I know that our students really got a lot out of the day, and there is a real buzz around STEM careers in this school as a direct result.

RobotFun was part of a group that included people from BT, Thales, Suffolk One, Delphi and PepsiCo, so I felt quite privileged.
