Not much to do with robots, I know, well, apart from the fact that there were one or two robot characters and the acting was sometimes a teeny bit wooden, but Thunderbirds, my favourite programme from when I was a kid is returning for three brand new episodes. What’s really cool is that they are being filmed in the same building in Slough where the originals were created, the characters speak words that were recorded by the original voice actors 50 years ago and it is all being done with puppets. The son of Gerry Anderson, the creator of the original show and many more 60s classics is behind it. Only three episodes are planned, but I can’t wait. The BBC has a nice little report on it all.
