At midnight on Wednesday 18 December 2019 the new Star Wars movie arrives at Cineworld in Ipswich. It’s the final film in the current trilogy. It gets its local premiere at midnight. We’ve been invited by Cineworld in Ipswich to attend the celebrations for the local premiere.

All of our Star Wars robots will be there, including R2-D2, BB-8, BB-9E and R2-Q5. This will be the first appearance of R2-Q5, as I have only recently managed to find one. We will also be bringing along BB-8 and BB9-E’s cousin, Sphero Bolt, and the brand new RVR tracked robot.

Those attending the premiere will be able to have a go at controlling and maybe programming all of these robots. When I took them down to meet the staff they were quite popular, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they go down quite well tomorrow
